Contact form: your name, email address, website address (if you give one), what you need and your message.
Free Site Check: your name, email address, business name, website and the country where most of your customers are; then, in a short form, what your business sells and to whom, your main services, other names for your business, your Google listing, competitors you watch, your other websites, your review pages (such as Trustpilot, G2 or Capterra) and anything you ask us to look at.
Website projects: the brief you fill in about your business and your buyers, the logo, photos and documents you send, and your comments and approvals on your private project page.
Website Care: your website address, the competitors, search phrases and buyer questions you agree with us, the access you give us (a user on your WordPress site, with the Administrator role that updates need, or read-only access to Google Analytics, Search Console or Bing Webmaster Tools, always added by you with our email address), and the readings and reports from each run.
Agencies: if an agency uses Website Care for its clients, it gives us the same details about each client’s website, the client adds our access where the level needs it, and the reports go to the agency, which passes them on.
Agency registration: your name, work email, agency name, website, country and how many client websites you look after; then, in the onboarding form, your role and phone (both optional), the platforms your clients use, the levels you want to offer, your agency’s email for client reports, a billing email and country, and, if you give one, your first client’s name, website and level.
Technical information: to stop abuse of the Site Check form we turn the internet address (IP address) and email of each sign-up into one-way codes and keep only those codes, for daily counts. Our hosting provider’s servers also record standard access logs, such as IP address, browser and the pages requested.
Contact form messages arrive in our email inbox; the form does not keep a copy on our website. When you send it, we email you a short confirmation; to send at most one a day, we keep a one-way code of your email address for one day.
Communications you send us, such as emails and messages through our forms.
Businesses we contact: business details, listed under “Outreach to businesses” in section 2.
For the free Site Check and Website Care we never ask for your passwords. For a website project, how we get into your hosting to set up WordPress is agreed with you, and passwords are never sent by email.
