Protect is everything in Monitor, plus the care a WordPress site needs to stay safe and working. You create a WordPress user for us. Each run checks your backup, runs updates only after we confirm a recent, complete backup, reads your security scan and tests your forms, and the report says what we found and did. We suggest a run every month, and at least every quarter; how often is your choice.

What Protect gives you

Backups checked first

We confirm your latest backup exists, is recent and holds every part of the site. If it does not, no update runs until a good backup is in place.

Updates without surprises

WordPress, theme and plugin updates, one at a time, after we confirm a recent, complete backup, on a staging copy first where your host offers one, with your site checked as a visitor after each. A broken update can be rolled back to that backup.

Security scan read

Your security plugin’s scan result, new users and application passwords, and spam pages, read in every run.

Forms tested

A test message through each form, marked TEST and sent with your agreement, so you know messages from buyers reach you.

Your rankings, AI answers, reviews and trust against your 3 competitors, your pages and speed, insights and the fix guide.

Nothing changes without your yes

Updates follow the steps above. Any other change to your site waits for your approval.

Who Protect is for

Owners of WordPress sites who want them kept safe, current and working, and want to see what was done.
Protect needs WordPress. If your site is built on another platform, choose Monitor, or Grow without the WordPress care.

How it starts

We agree your competitors, phrases and questions as for Monitor. Then you add our email address as a WordPress user with the Administrator role, which updates require. Your first report records the starting point; after that, a report each time you run it. We suggest a run every month, and at least every quarter; how often is your choice.

Questions about Protect

Why run Protect every month?

WordPress, themes and plugins release updates often, and many fix security holes that attackers look for. With a monthly run, fewer updates wait for each run, each goes in one at a time after a confirmed backup, and a problem is caught while it is small.

Why run Website Care at least every quarter?

Beyond three months, rankings, AI answers and your competitors will have moved, and an expired certificate can go unnoticed for longer. With Protect, updates also pile up and are riskier to apply together, and a broken form can go unnoticed. A quarterly run keeps those gaps short.

Do you need my passwords?

No password is ever sent to us for the Site Check or Website Care. You add our email address as a user with the role we ask for, and you can remove it at any time. For a new website or a redesign, passwords are never sent by email.

What if an update breaks something?

Updates run one at a time, only after we confirm a recent, complete backup, so the site can be rolled back to it.

Do I need a backup plugin or a security plugin?

Protect works with the backup and security plugins you have; if either is missing, setting it up is listed as a fix. Every Protect run checks both.

Will you change anything on my site?

Monitor changes nothing; Protect runs the update round; Grow adds the one improvement you approve. With Monitor, fixes are listed for your web team with steps. Protect updates only after a confirmed backup. Grow on WordPress includes Protect’s update round. Any other fix is made only when you ask, quoted in credits first.

Can I move up to a higher level later?

Yes. Add the access the higher Website Care level needs (Protect needs WordPress), and the next report includes it.

Can you promise more visitors or better rankings?

No. No one can promise rankings, visitors or what AI assistants say. We show you what changed and suggest what to do next; you decide.
